Isle of Arts for kids: Little Howard, Ed Boxall, Curious Creatures and more

If you thinking that the Isle of Arts Festival programme sounds great, but what about the kids, you’ll be pleased to hear that there’s lots for them to do too.

The Isle of Arts Festival returns to Ventnor on Friday (1st May) and runs for four days, with plenty to occupy the younger members of your family.

Saturday
Little Howard from Little Howard’s Big Questions heads to the Winter Gardens on Saturday with his family comedy show.

Author Jules Marriner will be holding a story-telling session at Ventnor Library, followed by a making session.

Sunday
There’ll be a sandcastle competition on Ventnor Beach on Sunday morning for the creative among you.

On Sunday afternoon Squashbox Theatre head to the Winter Gardens to present Curious Creatures, a puppet show performance for all the family.

Meanwhile over at Ventnor Library the wonderful Ed Boxall will perform his story ‘Dolphins keep me safe in my dreams’, followed by an art workshop.

Monday
There are also kid’s creative workshops on Monday at The Boathouse.
