Two children with Xmas hats and presents

Isle of Wight Christmas Toy Appeal launches for 2021

The Isle of Wight Radio Christmas Toy Appeal is looking for new toys (worth at least £10), or cash to help buy toys for less-fortunate local children, aged 0-16 years.

Isle of Wight Radio has teamed up with Red Funnel for this year’s appeal.

Makes a huge difference
The team behind the Toy Appeal knows from previous appeals what a huge difference it makes to Isle of Wight children, whether they’re young carers, stuck in hospital, looked-after children, or challenged by poverty and housing problems.

There are drop-off points across the Island. Or drop the toys off to Isle of Wight Radio at Dodnor Park, in Newport.

Making a cash donation? You can donate via a secure PayPal account.

Host a fundraiser
Want to go a step further and host a fundraiser? A Christmas jumper day at work? A school mufti day? Every donation counts.

Remember to let the team at Isle of Wight Radio know about your efforts so they can give you a mention on air.

The appeal closes on 12th December (so the toys are where they need to be in time for the big day).

Thank you from the Toy Appeal, Isle of Wight Radio and sponsors Red Funnel, on behalf of all the local organisations you’ll be helping.
