Isle of Wight Weather Centre meteorologist, David Carrington, will stay awake for the 36 hours to help less fortunate children on the Isle of Wight receive a gift this Christmas through the Christmas Toy Appeal.

#36hourchallenge
Starting at 7am on Friday, 9th December and finishing at 7pm on Saturday, 10th December local weather expert is to undertake the #36hourchallenge to stay awake to help boost the official toy appeal’s own challenge to reach this year’s target.

David hopes that his own efforts this weekend will encourage local, like-minded business owners to come up with their own way of helping to raise the much needed cash and toys.

How to donate
Donations can be made via the official toy appeal donation button (scroll down the page to find the button).

Whilst there you can also check out the chance of the Island having a White Christmas.
