On Wednesday 11th May, three Wightlink-LCM Systems CRT riders travelled to Liss on the A3 for the first of the a3crg evening 10 mile time trials.
With no wind, warm temperatures and high traffic levels it was a fast night to post some fast times. James Ebdon started at number 50 on the flat, out and back course, with Ian Hayden starting 30 seconds behind and Martin Sanders 5 minutes later.
With a fast finishing stretch, Ebdon rode the last five miles at over 30mph average to set a time of 21.06 and took ninth place overall.
Both Hayden and Sanders rode strongly to set new personal bests, and Sanders knocked over 30 seconds off his previous PB with a time of 22.00.
