We were encouraged to see large parts of Seaclose Park still very green when we arrived at the festival yesterday. We’re not suggesting there isn’t any mud on site as given the previous rain, not surprisingly, some sections are certainly quite soggy. We would point out that we didn’t go much further past the Hipshaker tent, so didn’t see the entire site.
The Met Office say there is a 40% chance of rain today at 7pm and an 80% by 10pm so make sure you take your waterproofs if you’re planning to stay out late tonight.
For those who haven’t been along, here’s another great video from Joey Briscoe. He spent the morning talking to festival goers as they waited at the entrance to the festival site.
Once again he captured lots of happy people, excited about the prospect of the three days of live music.
