Isle of Wight NHS Trust relocates blood testing department at St Mary’s Hospital

On Monday 24th February 2025 the Isle of Wight NHS Trust’s Blood Testing Department will be relocated to the Outpatients and Diagnostic Centre located at the North Hospital site at St Mary’s Hospital.

Patients will now need to check in for their blood test appointments at the self-check in points located within the Outpatients and Diagnostic Centre.

Several improvements for patients
The relocation of the current department will support several improvements for patients who need a blood test at the hospital. The new department will provide more privacy, and the sensory room for patients who need additional support during their blood test will be located within the department.
