Well done to the IW Radio team. The latest radio listening figures from RAJAR are just in for Isle of Wight Radio.
RAJAR is the body that produced listening figures for the radio industry and they release number quarterly.
Over a week, RAJAR say that IWR are getting 40,000 listeners – up on the 38,000 of the previous quarter.
The number of hours that each listener listens has also increased to 14.2 hours – the highest number for five years.
All of this leads to a total number of listened-to hours to 563k – again, the highest for over five years.
Suspect there’ll be some celebration at the station today.
