Holiday accommodation on the Isle of Wight has been placed second in The Times’ list of 24 of the UK’s most magical cabin stays.
Harbour Haven and Solent Serenity, Yarmouth is described by the paper as follows:
More captain’s compartments than traditional cabins, Harbour Haven and Solent Serenity are two floating huts bobbing about in Yarmouth marina, moored up amongst the boats.
Both shipshape retreats sleep up to five people, in two bedrooms that are gently rocked by the waves. The interiors are modern and well equipped, but most of your time is likely to be spent outside, lounging either on the large water-level balcony or up on the roof terrace, looking over the Solent.
Yarmouth’s 16th-century castle, Wightlink ferry port, pier and ice-cream parlours are a short stroll away.
