Our fabulous Isle of Wight produce will once again be appearing on TV screens around the country next week, this time in James Martin’s Food Map of Britain.
Next Monday’s episode features the Isle of Wight, with James making his way to Wight Salads to test out the delicious Isle of Wight Tomatoes.
Mark Hitchcock from Wight Salads said,
“The Isle of Wight will be shown as an ideal location in which premium quality tomatoes are grown because the more sunshine hours and milder climate that we have gives us better yields and better flavoured tomatoes than the rest of Britain.”
We’re sure you’ll agree it’s great exposure for the Island and Island food producers.
The programme will be screened on BBC2 on Monday 23rd September from 6.30pm.
