We expect there’s been a big sigh of relief for all those at Visit Isle of Wight, as results for the WightBID were revealed this morning.

The ballot closed on Tuesday evening and this morning the result was announced just after 11am,

The BID is expected to raise around £371,000 per year which will be ploughed into promoting the Isle of Wight to potential holiday-makers, helping to improve the offer to visitors and supporting tourism-related businesses.
