Jack Whitewood Interview: The Asphodel Fields and Invent Theatre

Jack Whitewood Interview: The Asphodel Fields and Invent TheatreAlex Welsford interviewed Jack Whitewood today about his play on Saturday, The Asphodel Fields, and the Invent theatre company.

The premise for the Asphodel Fields sound fascinating. The play is told from perspective of a lady suffering from dementia looking at how she brings up two children. This provides the audience with an interesting dilemma – what is real and misleading.

Jack told VB, he hopes “The audience could well leave with a different view of what was real.”

Sounds really interesting.

Every role within the Invent Theatre company is carried out by young people – actors, technical staff and back stage – so get down there on Saturday night and support their positive work – it’s only in Shanklin, after all.

The tickets will be charged at £7.50 and £6 Concessions (under 18/ 60+) Please note, there will be no group discounts on this occasion. Call the box office on (01983) 868000 to book yours or turn up on the night.
