Jo Hummel-Newell shortlisted for 2012 Jerwood Drawing Prize

Great to see that Isle of Wight artist Jo Hummel-Newell has been shortlisted in the 2012 Jerwood Drawing Prize. We’re big fans of Jo’s work, especially her delicately wrapped sculptures of horses.

Jo Hummel-Newell The Jerwood Drawing Prize is the largest and longest running annual open exhibition for drawing in the UK.

Jo’s work will sit alongside 72 others selected from almost 3,000 entries and will form part of an exhibition at JVA at Jerwood Space in London from 12 September – 28 October 2012, and then tour to venues across the UK including the new Jerwood Gallery, Hastings and mac, Birmingham.
