Join the ranks: Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra’s call for new musicians

The Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra have just resumed rehearsing after their summer break.

The orchestra rehearses on Wednesday evenings at Ryde Academy and they give five concerts each season at the Medina Theatre, as well as a summer concert at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.

At present they are rehearsing for their first concert of the new season which will be on Sunday November 5th 2023.

Call for new players
New string players are always welcome, but this season there might be chairs available for 2nd trumpet and 2nd oboe for musicians who can attend rehearsals on a regular basis.

If anyone is interested please get in touch via the orchestra’s Website.
