Ventnor Fringe Festival organisers have opened registration for volunteers with just weeks remaining until the ten-day event begins.
The festival depends entirely on dedicated volunteers who travel from across the Island and beyond to join what organisers describe as the “festival family.”
These volunteers help ensure the event operates safely and smoothly throughout its duration.
Diverse roles available
Festival organisers offer volunteers a wide range of opportunities to contribute to the event’s success.
Roles span from box office administration and event stewarding to technical support, marketing, site build, and creative positions.
The volunteer programme centres around three main teams: Steward, Box Office and Build Crew, with the latter working both before and after the festival.

Organisers emphasise their commitment to ensuring volunteers enjoy their experience whilst contributing to the festival.
They want volunteers to have opportunities to attend events and gain valuable experience, whilst often form lasting friendships.
