The Fire Service are responding to a report received at 1.04pm today of a large motor cruiser on fire.

The boat, named Kahu, is moored at the Marina, Britannia Way, East Cowes.

(Update: See Kahu in its glory, before the fire.)

The fire service say three pumps are in attendance tackling the fire on the private motor cruiser, which we’re told is a 25m x 10m cruiser which has three levels as well as a flying bridge level.

We have a full set of dramatic photos of the motor yacht on fire in East Cowes.

Update 14:48: Added photo of fire sent to OntheWight by Stephen Hendry and corrected name of yacht.
