Last chance to secure micro-grants for Isle of Wight’s CAN YOU HEAR US? programme

Time is running out to apply for anyone wanting to apply for the CAN YOU HEAR US? micro-grants programme.

As reported by OnTheWight last month, from 11th September to 24th October 2026, the Isle of Wight will celebrate its culture and creativity through a six-week festival called CAN YOU HEAR US?.

Creative Lives, a registered charity that champions community and volunteer-led creative activity, has teamed up with Creative Island and launched a micro-grants programme to support the initiative, offering 20-25 grants worth between £500 and £1,000 each.

Supporting local creativity
The grants will support local groups running creative activities anywhere on the Island between March and October 2026.

Groups can download the CAN YOU HEAR US?” guidelines and application link from the Creative Lives website.

Creative Lives has published FAQs on its website, including examples of previous creative projects the organisation has funded through micro-grants.

How to apply
The deadline for applications falls on Friday 30th January at midnight.

Groups with questions not covered in the guidelines or FAQs can email [email protected] for assistance.
