What type of clouds are these?
Karen is wondering whether they could be classed as Lenticular (Altocumulus lenticularis) cloud formations.

The downpour came at around 8.30am this morning in Ventnor and was a marvel to watch (from inside the house). We didn’t spot the clouds though, so are grateful to Karen for sharing this pics.
