Dear Sir / Madam
I am an Islander and proud of it. I was walking on Sandown sea front on Sunday and went to the council run toilets opposite the pier.
When I walked in I was shocked at the condition & cleanliness of the whole area.
Hygiene and cleanliness should not neglected
It was absolutely disgusting and smelly, needless to say I did not use the toilets for fear of catching something.
Just because of the cut backs neglect hygiene and cleanliness should not neglected.
What does this convey to the visitors coming to the Island?
As an Island I think we could do better than this in the current economic climate or we will lose our tourism to different destinations.
