Levi Coles hopes to raise £1,000 for charity by wearing pink

Levi Coles

Levi is netminder for the Island’s junior ice hockey team and as you can see from the photo above, has to get kitted out in full body protection for each game.

If you’ve ever been to an ice hockey match, you’ll appreciate how much of a testosterone-driven sport it is.

Sticking to pink
Levi is hoping therefore, that Islanders will understand that for him to wear pink for the entire season of matches is a big thing.

It’s something he’s prepared to do though, because Levi wants to raise as much as he can for Cancer Research UK.

You can do your bit to help this young lad reach his target of £1,000 by donating via JustGiving.

All money collected is going to a great cause and one that has probably touched the heart of all of us at some point.

Thanks to OnTheWight reader MaxxTraxx for letting us know about Levi’s campaign.
