Linda Bassett from Ryde will be braving a line of hot coals in September and doing a sponsored firewalk in aid of charity.
She’s hoping to raise lots of money for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance during the event taking place Cowes Golf Club on 14th September.
The air ambulance is a vital service for the region,
The Helicopter is called many times a day, to attend to road traffic collisions, sporting accidents, collapses and other incidents and these missions are often life saving.
It cost £4,000 a day to keep the helicopter operational. Funded by the public, we receive no Government or Lottery funding.
