Background on IW Health & Wellbeing Board
By way of background, the Board define their strategy as focused on five main areas:

  • Ensuring children and young people have the best possible start in life.
  • Helping and supporting people prepare for old age and to manage long-term physical and mental health conditions and disabilities.
  • Enabling people to make health choices for healthy lifestyles.
  • Building and sustaining economic growth for the Island and supporting improved employment opportunities.
  • Making the Island a better place to live and to visit.
