The Isle of Wight council is facing a £17.36m budget gap in 2016/17 due to drastic cuts from Government funding. As well as facing that challenge, in 2017/18 they will have to cut another £10m from Isle of Wight services.
Tonight (Monday), Councillors and officers will be holding a public meeting to discuss the budget and set out their position.

The budget consultation closes on 12 February 2016. The Full Council will set the council’s budget for 2016/17 on 24 February 2016.
