Local photographer Stacey Hughes is returning to Gallery 44 in Ventnor with a fresh collection of work.
Stacey first showed her photographs at the space, based at 44 High Street, back in May. This new exhibition will run for ten days, from Saturday 23rd August to Wednesday 3rd September.
New approaches to image-making
The latest series introduces photographs created using digital and multiple exposure techniques. These approaches give the images a distinctive look and a sense of depth.
Her subjects range from familiar Island scenes to more abstract compositions that carry a painterly quality.
A second showcase in Ventnor
For visitors, this exhibition offers another opportunity to explore Stacey’s evolving practice and her take on the Island and beyond.
Gallery 44 will open its doors to the public throughout the exhibition, offering a chance to experience her latest work in person.
