You may have seen the report by Marie Colvin, a foreign correspondent for the Sunday Times, on Channel 4 news last night (below).
News has just broken that she was killed only hours later by a bombardment by the Syrian government forces in their attempt to crush the opposition to their dictatorship.
While watching the report, we thought what an amazing risk she was taking in pursuit of the story. Today we hear the tragic news that she and a British French photographer, Paul Conroy Remi Ochlik, paid the ultimate price.
