Islander Malcolm Alder-Smith will be launching his new book, the Marine Cookery Bible later today.
At an invite only event, Malcolm will be performing live cookery demonstrations from his book.
Those who follow Malcolm on Twitter will know that he has been working on the book for sometime, so it’s great to hear that it’s launching today.
Malcolm says, “My book will tell you most of the things you need to know about training and where to go to find professional work in the industry.
“I have included over 150 interesting and exciting recipes, which your owner, guests, captain and crew will really enjoy.
“I have been training newbies to work as interior crew for around five years. Classically trained as a chef by French, Italian and Swiss master chefs, I share my galley secrets with UKSA Marine Hospitality students in the kitchens of The Isle of Wight College.”
