Many residents have been in touch with us over the last few months concerned about possible unlicensed dredging around the coastline of the Isle of Wight.
Claims of dredging activity outside licensed hours and locations were also reported and the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) who have just completed an investigation.
According to the Dredging Today Website, the MMO have now revealed their findings.
They say, “Following this investigation the MMO concluded that while dredging vessels sailed around and anchored off the Isle of Wight no unlicensed dredging activity took place in the area.”
