The British film starring Viv Albertine, Liam Gillick and Tom Hiddleston tells the story of a married, middle-aged couple who decide to sell the beautiful, modernist home in Chelsea where they have lived for eighteen years.
As they begin to say goodbye to their shared history under the same roof, they are beset by disturbing memories, fears and anxieties in the home that has become both a refuge and a prison for them.
The childless pair dote on the stunning, yet stark house, which is shown in carefully framed compositions and becomes the third character in the film. We peer in on the mysterious dynamic of the couple, played in naturalistic style by non-professional actors, both artists in real life.
