If you’re looking to use the Wightlink car ferry service between Portsmouth-Fishbourne, get yourself ready for a number of cancellation in the run up to the weekend and Saturday. Wightlink cite “operational reasons,” while apologising for any inconvenience.

Additional sailing
In addition to these cancelled sailings an additional sailing will operate from Portsmouth at 11:00 and from Fishbourne at 12:00 on Thursday 17 December and an additional sailing will operate from Portsmouth at 13:30 and from Fishbourne at 14:30 on Saturday 19 December
