A music video from Isle of Wight duo CHAMPS has been shortlisted for ‘Best Video’ prize at the International Music Video Festival.
Brothers, Michael and David Champion have had a busy year, touring the UK as well as Europe and even managing to find time for a local gig in Ventnor during the summer. The video for St Peter’s was shot in the French Alps and released earlier this year.
Stiff competition
According to Michael, it’s up against the likes of Pharrell Williams, Alt-J, Paolo Nutini and Ed Sheeran, so will need as much support as possible to gain the lead in the public vote.
He went on to say,
“The folks at JACK put a mega amount of time, work and money into it.”
