Still on the cycling theme, we heard on BBC news last night that nearly 1,000 residents the other side of the Solent are opposing a forthcoming Naked Bike Ride.
The World Naked Bike Ride takes place across the globe on 10 June, with a six-mile naked ride planned through the centre of Portsmouth.
The intention of the Naked Bike Ride is to raise awareness “to oil dependency and the negative social and environmental impacts of a car dominated culture.”
Protesters say it’s indecent
However, protesters who have signed a petition against the naked cyclists riding through the city, say it’s indecent and should be stopped.
We wonder how residents on the Isle of Wight would react if they saw a mass of naked cyclists approaching?
What do you think?
