Ryde Town Council are delighted to announce that their Clerk, Lisa Dyer, has won the Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC) New Clerk of the Year Award.
Lisa began her new position as Town Clerk in the midst of a pandemic and despite the challenges she faced because of this, has transformed and helped reshape the Town Council.
Award is much deserved
Lisa is dedicated to supporting the health, well-being and economy of Ryde and has worked incredibly hard during the past year. This award is much deserved, congratulations Lisa!

“She has kept Ryde going through the worst pandemic in the world and supported her amazing staff team while developing and growing the council in impossible circumstances.
“Ryde is not only buzzing, but economically and socially growing, and Lisa and her team deserve much praise. It’s a proud day for Ryde and the Isle of Wight as Lisa is a local woman who has done so much good.”
