New Funding for Island Groups from the Isle of Wight Community Fund

Good news from Krissy for voluntary or community groups in need of cash. In her own words, Ed

CashTwo funding programmes are now open to Island voluntary and community groups.

Groups with an annual income of less than £50,000 can apply for an IWCF grant of between £500 and £1,000.

While projects supporting disadvantaged youngsters will be given a higher priority, the committee are keen to support groups which make a genuine difference to their local community.

Funding can cover core costs including salaries, room hire, volunteer expenses as well as equipment. Deadline is 3rd August.

Cashback for Communities
Funding is available through the Cashback for Communities programme to groups, charities, or other non-profit organisations for projects which encourage greater public participation in the prevention and solution of crime, assistance in measures designed to reduce the level and fear of crime and provide educational information and practical assistance on crime prevention. Deadline is 6th August.
