A new coffee afternoon for creative women is being launched this month.
Hear Her Out is a brand new event series hosted by Robyn Ballard, a third year university student who is advocating for creative young women in a male dominated industry to inspire them to connect and stand out.
The afternoon will be hosted at Monkton Arts on Wednesday 18th December from 4pm with special guests and a charity bake sale.
Hear from others
This will be a chance to listen to women who have overcome challenges and achieved great things in their fields while also being able to network over coffee and cake, meet new people and open new doors.
All profits go to an important charity called Girls Out Loud that supports young women in schools to shine.
Ballard: I’m determined to get more young women involved in the creative industries
Robyn Ballard, Hear Her Out Founder, said,
“I feel it’s so important that women and young girls have the accessibility to connect and grow in a safe environment.
“I’m determined to get more young women involved in the creative industries and hope that this event gives the supportive atmosphere they need when growing up.”
Hear Her Out welcomes any woman or ally of all ages to join them at their inaugural event.
