An electrical fault in a fuse box is thought to be the cause of a house fire last night a VB reader tells us.
Just after 10pm, firefighters were called to New Street in Newport to tackle a fire in a ground floor flat.
Fourteen firefighters tackled the fire which has apparently gutted the downstairs flat.
Four people were taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
