Later this month there’ll be two chances to see a joint concert with Newchurch and Northampton Male Voice Choirs.
The prestigious Northampton Male Voice Choir will be visiting the Isle of Wight on the weekend of September 17th and 18th to take part in a joint charity concert raising money for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
The first concert takes place on the evening of Saturday 17th September at St John’s Church in Sandown.
This will be followed by an afternoon concert by the Northampton Male Voice Choir at Warners Holiday Park in Bembridge on Sunday 18th at 3pm.
Barry Leahy from the Newchurch MVC tell us that Northampton MVC try to combine a short holiday with a singing tour every other year – preferably abroad.
Past trips have included the Republic of Ireland, Malta, France and Spain. However with economic climate proving to be quite a barrier the Isle of Wight has been chosen this time!
Both concerts are free to see, with a retiring collection.
