Newchurch Male Voice Choir helped to raise £1,650 during 2012 at five of their 14 concerts for the year.
Two joint concerts took place at St Saviour’s Church, Shanklin, one in April with the Penzance Ladies Orpheous the other in September with the Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir.
A further two were held at St John’s Church, Sandown and the other at St Michael’s, Shalfleet. The Sandown & Shanklin Lifeboat charity was Newchurch’s charity of choice for 2012.
For this year, 2013, Newchurch MVC are supporting the “Isle of Wight Befriending Service” for Action on Hearing Loss.
