The front counter at Newport Police Station is going to be temporarily closed between Tuesday, December 13 and Thursday, December 15, for refurbishment.
A temporary front counter will be opened at Ryde Police Station, in Station Street, Ryde, on Tuesday – Thursday (Dec 13-15), between 9am – 6pm (closed between 2pm-3pm).
The front counter at Newport Police Station due to re-open at 9am on Friday, December 16.
Station enquiry officers are able to assist with the following:
- Reporting crime and other incidents
- Registration for foreigners and sex offenders
- Reporting for bail
- Producing documents at the request for an officer
- Seizure of vehicles (s.165)
- Lost and found property
- Advice and information
- Leaving messages for officers and staff
Alternatively, members of the public can contact Hampshire Constabulary by calling 101. In an emergency, or if a crime is in progress, call 999.
