Artists, designers and makers are being invited to explore three new creative studio spaces in Ryde.
Department, the new community-focused arts hub which opens next week, is hosting a Creative Studios Open Afternoon on Wednesday 19th March, from 2-3pm.
Attendees will have the chance to view the available workspaces and take a guided tour of the building.
Flexible studio licences available
From April 2025, Department will offer flexible studio licences for three new workspaces located on the first floor.
The available studios are:
- Studio 1: 18.4sqm, includes a sink, suitable for individual or shared use – £300 per month.
- Studios 2 & 3: 11.1sqm each, ideal for individuals – £200 per month.
Each space benefits from free Wi-Fi, access to a kitchenette, and discounts for use of the Fitting Room workshop space.
Opportunities for artists and makers
Department is looking for established artists and makers who consider the studio their main place of work.
Creative startups are also encouraged to apply, making this a great opportunity for emerging talent.
Those interested in viewing the studios should email [email protected] to book a place on the tour.
