Analysis of Ventnor
The sun is looking really inviting outside and given the time, we might well just head off shortly, but until then here’s a little look at a few of the funny things about the Ventnor parish.

No seat is uncontested.

Four candidates have been nominated to two wards – TAYLOR, Val; SCOCCIA, Susan Jane; FITZGERALD-BOND, Jonathan Seaver; PERKS, Graham James Mark.

We assume that these are looking to put their hats in to two races, then withdraw from one when they’ve decided which one they’ve got more chance of wining in.

FITZGERALD-BOND, Jonathan Seaver is not only nominated for Ventnor Parish East Ward, but has prosed PERKS, Graham James Mark to run against himself! Strange behaviour which seems a little like betting against yourself.

In St. Lawrence Ward Nettleton, Janet M. has proposed BARTLETT, Buster and a NETTLETON, Douglas Mackenzie has also been nominated by another.

Funny game this, isn’t it?
