One VB reader, Lee Firth, felt the urge yesterday to share something he thought our readers should know about.
He tells us he was incensed at witnessing an Isle of Wight council parking attendant, causing traffic problems by being parked on a double yellow line, whilst handing out tickets.
Lee posted three pictures to our Facebook page, taken yesterday afternoon in Puckpool Park, Ryde.
He says the female traffic warden was parked on the double yellow lines for over 15 minutes.
The second picture shows her parked car creating a disruption, although he says it was far worse than the photo conveys.
He went on to say that seconds after taking the third picture and telling the parking attendant that he’d be posting the pictures online, the parking warden almost crashed into other cars as she drove off.
He said that, “She couldn’t drive off quick enough as I mentioned that I shall be posting these pictures online and adding them to VentnorBlog. Leaving her almost crashing into two cars. Seems they have one rule for them and one rule for the general public. PRICELESS!”
