How lovely it’s been driving past the site of the new Perks of Ventnor Public House (upper High Street opposite the British Legion) over the past week, and seeing how well they’ve spruced it up.
The windows are looking very smart with new signage and the hanging baskets and flower laden barrels out the front look smashing.
The opening date has been much anticipated and for those who weren’t aware, it is advertised on the board outside as being tonight at 8pm!
We wish them every success on their opening night and in the years to come.
UPDATE: Well done to Farmersboy for stating the bleeding obvious in the comments section … so before I get bombarded with any more smart arse comments, of course the photo is of the wine shop and NOT the pub. If anyone wants to send me a photo of the pub, I’ll happily replace the image.
We found a rather comfy seat to enjoy our drinks from and absorb the jolly atmosphere, before it was time to head home … hope to see some Ventnor Brewery on tap soon. 
Update 2: We took ourselves down to Perks for a swift pint, little’un in tow and were very happy to see how busy it was.
