The Trustees of Carisbrooke Castle Museum are delighted that the Phoenix Choir are holding a fundraising concert for the benefit of the Museum on September 26th at St John’s Church Newport commencing at 7.30pm. There is no admission charge but a retiring collection.
The Trust carries out projects for the benefit of the community of the Isle of Wight – a website, trained volunteers visit Residential Care Homes for the Elderly, and in particular, for those suffering from dementia, and the Trust also works in partnership with the Isle of Wight Council Heritage Education Service providing educational visits to the Museum, and lending boxes of items for study by children of all ages.
To continue to offer these community benefits, the Trust does undertake fund raising events and your support at this forthcoming concert will be greatly appreciated.
