Last Sunday saw Ryde esplanade packed with Islanders and visitors eager to take part in the annual Armed Forces Day celebrations.
Hats off to the organisers, spearheaded by Armed Forces Champion at Isle of Wight council, Councillor Ian Dore, and all the volunteers and organisations involved with the day. We’ve heard nothing but praise for the event.
