A two-foot deep ‘pond’ has appeared on Undercliff Drive around one mile away from the area where house evacuations are taking place due to the landslip.
As Tweeted at about 8:30 this morning, Island Roads took the decision to close the road between Inglewood Park to Seven Sisters Road due to the flood.
The photos below were shot this afternoon by Julian Winslow who lives near by.
OnTheWight contacted Island Roads seven hours ago to find out more about the cause of the flooding, but at time of publishing, they had failed to respond.
