Police appeal after vandals cause damage to vehicles in Newport

The incident occurred sometime between 6.00pm on Wednesday, June 19 and 7.00am the following morning. The vehicles, a Volvo excavator and a JCB, were parked at the College by the new Sixth Form building site.

Both had extensive damage to their windows.

Investigating Officer PC Martin Egerton said:

“There is a public footpath at the rear of the College and the building site is clearly visible through the fencing.

“We are appealing for anyone who many have used this footpath during the time of the incident and saw anything suspicious to contact us.”
