We are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Whippingham Road in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
Sadly, one person has been pronounced dead at the scene.
Another person has been air-lifted to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries.
The road is closed in both directions. Please try to avoid the area whilst emergency services deal with the incident. Thank you.
