Police were called at 6.19pm on Thursday evening (23rd June) following concern for welfare of a woman in Parkhurst Forest.
Officers were deployed to the area and sadly located the body of a woman in her 20s, who was declared deceased at the scene by paramedics.
The woman’s next-of-kin have been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
