It’s Quay Comedy Club time again – and this is one guaranteed to compete with May madness anywhere! Quay Arts presents three amazing comics for the price of one!
This month we see Joe Rowntree, a psychology graduate who delivers lectures by day and mirth by the bucketful at night!
He has performed in the most prestigious and reputable comedy clubs across the UK including the Comedy Store and Jongleurs.
Expect wit rooted in his surreal observations of life and a few sensational put downs from Joe, once penman for the nasty one-liners delivered by Anne Robinson on the hit 2001 Weakest Link show.
He is joined by Joe Bor, an energetic observational character comedian, whose act consists of anecdotes from working in a school to his impressions of rugby players.
This multi-talented star has written and starred in the sketch show ‘Oi Over Here’ played at The Pleasance Theatre in Edinburgh 2005 (re-worked for television), he has acted in several short films, with his graduation animation film, ‘My Third Arm’ screening at festivals around the world including Edinburgh, Cardiff and Berlin and he has performed at the Comedy Store, Comedy Cafe and several others.
A third comic will join this double trouble duo and their joint comedic expertise will ensure a night of glorious giggles and laudable laughs!
