Rachael Berry’s brain hat fundraiser aims to support Alzheimer’s Research UK – donate for your chance to win it

Isle of Wight-based artist Rachael Berry is supporting Alzheimer’s Research UK by taking part in their ‘Knit Every Day in March’ challenge.

The national campaign raises both awareness and funding for dementia research, at a time when over one million people in the UK are living with the condition.

Knitting a brain hat for a cause
Rachael has been beavering away all month to knit a unique brain hat.

Everyone who donates to her fundraiser will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win the finished hat at the end of March.

The winner will be announced on Friday 4th April 2025.

Supporting breakthrough research
Alzheimer’s Research UK say the first treatments capable of slowing Alzheimer’s disease are now within reach.

With major breakthroughs on the horizon, the charity emphasises that every contribution supports crucial research.
