Represent the Isle of Wight and take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch

The Big Garden Birdwatch is almost upon us, taking place between 28th and 30th January 2022.

It’s an opportunity to spend an hour simply counting the birds you see in your garden, from your balcony or in your local park.

Join a million others
Last year more than one million people across the UK took part in the campaign organised by the conservation charity, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).

They say that a shocking 38 million birds have been lost from UK skies in the last 50 years.

How to take part
Taking part is easy and there are full instructions on the RSPB Website, where you’ll also find an FAQ and more.

You don’t need to have loads of birding knowledge to take part
